if it matters…
I am trying to imagine a society with Mr. Reich as President. I suppose it would be include some sort of National Hockey League where all of the players are Native-American women, a Corps of Engineers where everyone wears a Taco Bell uniform and offers to supersize each new bridge and tunnel, hip-hop music written and performed by white or Asian males featuring lyrics about stock quotes and javascript, and gang members running NASA, “bustin’ a cap” towards Neptune.
Someone forwarded me one of those “send to 4,000,000 people to make a difference” emails about the chicken crossing the road. Since this was one of those rare “I love you but this is junk mails” that I actually read, and even more amazingly, enjoyed, I had to steal the idea and make my own version:
Bringing us together……it hit me like a ton of bricks. This wasn’t just another conservative website. It wasn’t just the conservative facebook group, or the myspace Sara Palin page. It wasn’t just hannity.com, or rushlimbaugh.com. On the surface, it was similar….but underneath there was a subtle, yet significant difference: It was a NETWORK of ALL of those sites, and ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE. I could come to one place, and find information on 4-5 topics that interest me, and 4-5 more that, until now, I didn’t realize interested me.
